1. GENERAL

These Terms & Conditions apply to all bookings and participation in SPLAT HQ sessions operated by The Boulder Bunker Ltd.

By booking or participating in a SPLAT HQ session, all participants and/or parents/guardians agree to these Terms & Conditions.

The Boulder Bunker Ltd reserves the right to amend these Terms & Conditions at any time without prior notice.

2. PARTICIPATION

Participants take part at their own risk.

All participants must:

• follow staff instructions,
• attend the safety briefing,
• wear provided PPE,
• behave responsibly throughout the session.

The Boulder Bunker Ltd reserves the right to remove any participant whose behaviour is considered unsafe, disruptive, abusive, or likely to endanger others.

No refunds will be issued for removals due to unsafe behaviour.

3. AGE RESTRICTIONS

Children under 16 must be supervised according to the session requirements.

Certain sessions may have minimum or maximum age recommendations.

Parents/guardians remain responsible for the behaviour and supervision of children attending SPLAT HQ sessions.

4. HEALTH & SAFETY

Participants should not attend if they:

• have contagious illnesses,
• are under the influence of alcohol or drugs,
• are medically unfit to participate.

Participants must notify staff of:

• epilepsy,
• light sensitivity,
• severe allergies,
• sensory conditions requiring adjustments,
• or any medical conditions that may affect participation.

UV lighting may be used during certain sessions.

5. CLOTHING & PERSONAL BELONGINGS

Protective ponchos and goggles are provided.

However:

• paint may stain clothing,
• paint may stain footwear,
• paint may stain personal belongings.

Participants are strongly advised to:

• wear old clothes,
• remove jewellery,
• protect phones and valuables.

The Boulder Bunker Ltd accepts no responsibility for damage to personal property caused during sessions.

6. PAINT & MATERIALS

Only approved equipment and materials may be used.

Participants must not:

• throw hard objects,
• misuse equipment,
• intentionally target faces or eyes,
• remove equipment from the room.

Paint products used are washable where possible but complete removal from clothing or materials cannot be guaranteed.

7. PHOTOGRAPHY & SOCIAL MEDIA

Participants may take personal photos and videos unless otherwise instructed.

The Boulder Bunker Ltd may occasionally capture promotional content during sessions.

If you do not wish to appear in promotional content, please notify staff before the session begins.

8. BOOKINGS & PAYMENTS

All bookings must be paid in full before the session unless otherwise agreed.

Prices may change without notice.

Bookings are subject to availability.

9. CANCELLATIONS & REFUNDS

Customer cancellations:

• More than 7 days before booking: full refund or transfer.
• 48 hours to 7 days before booking: transfer only.
• Less than 48 hours before booking: non-refundable.

The Boulder Bunker Ltd reserves the right to cancel or reschedule sessions due to:

• safety concerns,
• staffing issues,
• technical problems,
• force majeure events.

Where possible, alternative dates or refunds will be offered.

10. LATE ARRIVALS

Late arrivals may reduce session time.

Participants arriving excessively late may be refused entry if the safety briefing has already been completed.

No refunds will be issued for missed sessions due to lateness.

11. DAMAGE & MISUSE

Participants may be charged for:

• deliberate damage,
• vandalism,
• misuse of equipment,
• damage caused through unsafe behaviour.

12. LIABILITY

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence where such limitation is not permitted by law.

Participation involves physical activity and inherent risk.

Participants accept responsibility for following instructions and behaving safely throughout the experience.

13. SEND & SENSORY SESSIONS

The Boulder Bunker Ltd aims to make SPLAT HQ accessible and inclusive.

Sensory-friendly sessions may include:

• reduced lighting,
• reduced sound,
• lower participant numbers.

Parents/guardians remain responsible for determining suitability for individual participants.

14. RIGHT TO REFUSE ENTRY

The Boulder Bunker Ltd reserves the right to refuse admission to any participant where staff believe participation may:

• present a safety risk,
• negatively impact other guests,
• or breach these Terms & Conditions.
