Indoor Activities in Torquay
Rain or shine, The Bunker packs a whole day out under one roof at 11 South Street in Torquay town centre. We are Devon’s only indoor bouldering centre, home to a 60-minute escape room, UV paint battles at SPLAT HQ, soft play for under-5s, a training gym and a café. Everything below is indoors, so the weather never decides your plans.
Bouldering
Torquay’s only dedicated indoor bouldering centre, with routes for complete beginners through to experienced climbers (V0 to V6+). No booking needed for general climbing — just turn up. From £8 for under-6s, £10 concessions, £12–£14 adults. What is bouldering? · Memberships
Escape Room
Murder at Marwood Manor is a 60-minute immersive whodunnit for 2–6 players, suitable for ages 8 and over. £20 per person, with Hard Mode and Unlimited Hints add-ons. Book the escape room

Bambinos & Messy Minis (under-5s)
Bambinos turns our climbing hall into a toddler-friendly active play space on Monday, Wednesday and Friday mornings. Messy Minis is a 60-minute bookable sensory session with paint, foam and water. Bambinos free under 6 months, £4 (6–12 months), £7 (1+); Messy Minis £10. Visit The Little Bunker

Every activity on this page is fully indoors, so The Bunker works just as well on a wet February half-term as it does in the middle of summer. If you’re specifically looking for rainy-day ideas, most of our visitors pair a climb or SPLAT HQ session with lunch in the café.

Please note: we do not have our own car park. There is on-street parking nearby, or the nearest car park is Lower Union Lane (pay and display, TQ2 5PN), about a two-minute walk away. Do I need to book?
General climbing needs no booking — just turn up during opening hours. The escape room, SPLAT HQ sessions, Messy Minis and parties are all booked online in advance.
What ages do you cover?
From babies (Bambinos is free under 6 months) through kids’ clubs and family sessions to adult climbing, coaching and corporate team building.
Is there parking?
We don’t have our own car park. There’s on-street parking nearby and the Lower Union Lane pay-and-display car park (TQ2 5PN) is about two minutes’ walk.
Is everything indoors?
Yes — climbing, the escape room, SPLAT HQ, soft play and the café are all under one roof, so the weather makes no difference.
How much does it cost?
Day passes start from £8, SPLAT HQ and Messy Minis from £10, the escape room is £20 per person, and parties start at £140.
